Molly Manners is a BAFTA-winning director. Her feature film début Extra Geography (Film4/ BFI /Screen Yorkshire) will premiere at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival in the World Cinema Dramatic competition.

Molly is best known for her work on hit Netflix series ONE DAY for which she received two BAFTA nominations including Best Director and won the RTS Best Director award. The series launched in February 2024 hitting global number 1 and receiving 5-star reviews in The Guardian, The Times and BBC Culture; hailing it as “flawless”, “exquisite” and “note-perfect”.

Before this, she directed the critically acclaimed 2nd Series of comedy drama IN MY SKIN (BBC3/Hulu) for which she won a BAFTA for Best Drama Series, two BAFTA Cymru awards for Best Director and Best Drama, and an RTS award for Best Drama. 

Molly works across Film, TV and commercials and her latest work "The Perfect Gift" for Watirose starring Keira Knightley and Joe Wilkinson was in the Ad Age top 5 holiday spots and pick of the week in Campaign, Shots, David Reviews and Ad Age.
